  • Preparing the couple for IVF
  • Setting up an IVF lab – do’s and don’ts

Day 2: Saturday (10th July 2021)

  • Principles of ovarian stimulation
  • Oocyte pick up-mastering the technique
  • Gamete Handling –(Semen Preparation, Preparation of oocyte before IVF/ICSI)

Day 3: Friday, (16th July 2021)

  • Preparing the endometrium for frozen embryo transfer/ donor oocyte cycle.
  • Embryo Culture systems: an overview
  • Embryo grading & selection

Day 4: Saturday, (17th July 2021)

  • Embryo transfer-the principles
  • ET catheters & loading technique
  • IVF lab maintenance
  • Hands-on session 22nd August 2021(Sunday)

    • Demonstration of all equipment in the IVF Lab and their functions.
    • Oocyte pick-up equipment/ disposables demonstration
    • Demonstration of labware, disposables and consumables.
    • Demonstration of Cryobiology equipment, disposables and consumables
    • Semen preparation & Semen freezing (hands-on)
    • Gamete handling and Dish preparation (hands-on)
    • Embryo transfer catheter loading (hands-on)
    • How to maintain IVF facility & demonstration of quality control gadgets.
